Then later chases another character around because she happened to look a lot like an old school anime character, wanting their autograph.
He actually uses himself as an effective human shield at one point for the hero by convincing the shooters that he's been taken hostage and doesn't want to die "because I still have video games I want to play and anime I want to see!"
His ideal girlfriend is Shiori from Tokimeki Memorial, a dating sim.
And he even name a cloned baby after her [in the following light novels].
If I ever meet a guy even half as perfect as Alex, I'd SO marry him!
