I'm going to help Mindy out here...
As Mark had suggested in the last meeting and in the news letter (if you're not reading it, you better!) we were going to treat it like a gift exchange, with a big party to follow in March for White Day, where the guys will help provide food and small gifts from in return from the chocolate and things we gave them the previous month.
So, I had an idea, that the girls pool money and go buy candy and other little goodies to make little treat bags for the guys and we were thinking about having it set after V-Day so we can hit all the sales and get good prices on chocolate and gifts.
The Date for the exchange is Feb 20th, which is the second meeting of the month.
This will give us a bit of time to think about it and plan accordingly. If you have anything to add, post it here.
Thanks guys! Lets make this new tradition for the club special. *laugh*

Okay, that's a lot better since I was NOT going to make the meeting on the 6th due to vehicular obligations I have scheduled in Texas.
Ugh, I so hope the roads are more clear next week for that trip.

Yesh. Just doing chocolates this year. No real party on v-day, and yes would really like if all the girls could either chip n for the the goodie bags or just come w/me on a shopping trip and help out. Please pm me or post if you have any other suggestions/ideas. Thanks! |

Ok, guess what? Our v-day treat thingy just might get cancelled. Don't mean to sound like a B, but so far, only 2 other people than me are willing help. I need to start seeing posting or pm me if you want to donate or go on the shopping trip and help pay for goodies. Anyone can donate, just pm me. Deadline is this saturday 02/12/10 at 5pm. That night I will let everyone know, whether or not we will be having treats for v-day.

It's supposed to be only girls providing the goodies for the guys (to follow the japanese tradition). And many TnT people are aware of the club's existence, they just choose not to be part of it. And sakata, are you volunteering to bring something, go shopping or donate, then say so. I need people to post or pm me if they are choosing to participate. I am only looking for a least a few others to show interest here. Deadline is in about 4 hours. Guys out number girls a lot, thats why I need more girls to participate, pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaase. Sorry if Im sounding so harsh

Because they are entirely separate entities, one f which helps the other with staffing. And bribing people with food to come isn't the whole point anyway, it's about doing things fro the other club members who have been there through the year. |
